- Check for airflow inside the house at each vent (good air volume is a must)
- Check outside unit for operation. (they all have a fan and it must run)
- Feel the copper lines for a difference in temperature. The little line should be warm/hot, The larger line should be cool/coldListen for any noise that sounds abnormal. ( A properly operational system should run with a quiet hum)
- Look for any ice, excessive moisture or other visual abnormalities.
